ÁLVARO SIZA STUDIO Portuguese studio was awarded the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2012 for his professional trajectory. Alvaro SIza was recognized with the Pritzker Prize in 1992. His oeuvre – with a sculptural quality of its own – covers different uses and scales, intertwining with its context.
SOUTO DE MOURA STUDIO Portuguese architect of the Architecture School of Oporto. He received the Pritzker prize in 2011 and the Wolf Award of the Arts in 2013. He opened his own office in 1980, mentored by Álvaro Siza and Fernando Távora. He has been visiting professor in several cities.
AIRES MATEUS ARCHITECTS Architect and teacher at the Universidade Autonoma and Universidade Lusíada of Lissbon. His studio is one of the most influential of the current international panorama. He has received prices such as the FAD award in 2010 and has been finalist of the Mies Van der Rohe award in 2009.
RCR ARCHITECTS Architecture studio founded in Olot in 1987, and formed by Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramón Vilalta. Their work has been awarded in multiple occasions, most recently, in 2017, with the Pritzker Prize. In 2010 they were named honorary members of the American Institute of Architects.
EMILIO TUÑÓN ARCHITECTS Spanish architect who started working at the office of Rafael Moneo and who in 1990 founded, along with Luis Moreno Mansilla, the architecture studio Tuñón + Mansilla. He has lectured in the Architecture School of Navarra, the GSD of Harvard and Princeton University. In 2014 he was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts.
OAB · FERRATER STUDIO This studio was founded by Carlos Ferrater in 1971. In 2006 he founded the OAB – Office of Architecture in Barcelona. He has received four FAD awards, the Barcelona City Prize, the Brunel Prize, has been a finalist of the Mies Van der Rohe Prize twice and has been a National Architecture Prize in 2009.
BAROZZI VEIGA STUDIO Establecido en 2004, el estudio español Barozzi / Veiga se ha dado a conocer por su enfoque intelectual del diseño y soluciones precisas que aprovechan las condiciones locales añadiendo sentido de exclusividad, un enfoque que recientemente les valió el Premio Mies van der Rohe para su Filarmónica.
CORREIA/RAGAZZI ARCHITECTS Architectural firm founded by Graça Correia, who was trained in the FAUP and collaborated with Eduardo Souto de Moura between 1989 and 1995, and Roberto Ragazzi, trained in the IUAV and collaborator of Álvaro Negrello and Virginio Moutinho after settling in Oporto, where in 2005 they would establish the Correia/Ragazzi studio. Since then they have received awards such as Best Architects 2016.
FRAN SILVESTRE ARQUITECTOS Director of the March programmes. UPV and TU/e of Holland architect and teacher at the Projects Department at the UPV. His office -Fran Silvestre Architects – has received different prices on several competitions, as well as the MHK first prize for the Atrium House and the Red Dot Design Award.
JUAN DOMINGO SANTOS Architect and Project teacher at the Architecture School of Granada. He has been recognized with the ENOR Award for his Water Museum and the FAD Prize for his thesis “Innovated Tradition”. He has won with Álvaro Siza the international competition for the remodelling of the Alhambra Atrium.
FRANCESC RIFÉ Interior architect and industrial designer. He founded his own studio in Barcelona in 1994. He has been candidate to National Design awards, FAD prizes and has won two ASCER awards.
MARIO RUIZ Nacido en 1965 en Alicante, España, el diseñador Mario Ruiz se graduó en Diseño Industrial en la prestigiosa Escuela de Diseño Elisava de Barcelona. Comenzó su carrera profesional independiente en 1995 abriendo su propio estudio en Barcelona.
NACHO LAVERNIA His studio Lavernia&Cienfuegos is centred in industrial and graphic design. Their works have received prices as LAUS, DELTA, AEPD, Design Plus and The Dieline.
JOSE A. GANDÍA BLASCO Creative director of GANDIABLASCO, company dedicated to the fabrication of furniture for outside spaces, which is also referential on an international level. The company stands out for its experimentation and innovation with materials.
ANDRÉS ALFARO HOFMANN Collector and designer. He funded the Alfaro Hofmann Studio in 1982. He has been awarded prizes such as the Red Dot Award in 2013, in collaboration with Fran Silvestre Architects.
PEPE GIMENO Graphic design studio whose origin goes back to 1986 and which has been awarded the Gràffica Prize in 2017. They have done some of works that has become icons in the fields for which they were created.
DVEIN Dvein is a creative team led by Teo Guillem and Carlos Pardo, both trained in Fine Arts and Design. They fuse the physical with the digital world to create stylish visual effects with their own aesthetic language, combining live action with animation to pursue a unique visual aesthetic in film, broadcast, music video, art and installation.
AGRAPH Patricia García and Daniel López. Studio of multidimensional creation. Their work has been published in media such as AV or Ronen Bekerman. They have collaborated with Tuñón + Mansilla, among others.
LUISA SOUTO DE MOURA Architect, she started her career at Nuno Brandão Costa’s studio and currently works in the studio Souto de Moura in Oporto, where she leads the development of diverse international projects in countries such as France or Lebanon.
NURIA AYALA Arquitecta, se incorpora al estudio de Carlos Ferrater en el año 2000, entre sus obras destacan Ampliaciones del Jardín Botánico de Barcelona o el “Club House” en Bodrum – Turquía y sus proyectos han sido reconocidos por premios como el Premio de Arquitectura en la Bienal Iberoamericana en 2010.
SALVADOR MORET Salvador es arquitecto cofundador y director de la academia técnica Ensenyem.
