Within the MBA module of the MBA MArch Advanced Master’s in Architecture, Design and Business Administration, the Financial Plan sessions have started. This block focuses on one of the most important aspects of an architect’s professional development: understanding and managing the economic dimension of a studio.
The module addresses business management from a comprehensive perspective, incorporating tools that are essential in contemporary practice. Throughout the sessions, students work on key topics such as financial management, human resources planning, and the organizational structure of a company, understanding how these factors influence the viability and growth of an architecture or design studio.
The classes are taught by Ana de Pablo, who holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and is currently Financial Manager at Fran Silvestre Arquitectos. Her career combines experience in the banking sector with the economic and organizational management of an internationally recognized architecture studio, where she oversees financial operations and manages relationships with clients, suppliers, and collaborators.
Throughout her career, Ana de Pablo has developed strong expertise in negotiation and business management, participating in various operations that have strengthened her ability to identify opportunities and resolve complex situations. Her work also extends to the institutional field, where she acts as a link between the MArch Postgraduate School and the European University, strengthening key strategic partnerships.
Within the program, her teaching provides a practical and up-to-date perspective on management, connecting theoretical content with real-world situations. Her approach emphasizes the development of business plans and strategies that enable students to face professional practice with a solid foundation, understanding architecture not only as a design discipline but also as a business structure.
