The Pritzker Prize is a recognition in the field of architecture known as the “Nobel of architecture”, being one of the highest recognitions awarded in the professional field. Since its creation in 1979 by Jay A. Pritzker and his wife Cindy, this prestigious award has honored architects who have left a significant mark and contributed exceptionally to society.

Every year, a prominent international jury selects an architect who, through his or her work, has demonstrated innovation, originality and a profound impact on society.
