The Architecture Hunter Awards (AHA) have established themselves as one of the most forward-thinking platforms on the international architectural scene. Born within Architecture Hunter, one of the most influential digital media outlets today, these awards seek projects that demonstrate a deep sensitivity to their context and an innate ability to evoke emotion. In a landscape saturated with accolades, the AHA stand out for their rigor and for a jury composed of figures such as Marcio Kogan and Stefano Boeri, who evaluate submissions based on criteria of innovation, sustainability, and narrative quality.

The philosophy behind these awards goes beyond mere formal recognition, building a bridge between built architecture and visual communication. Great importance is placed on how architecture is communicated, with the understanding that a project reaches its full potential only when it is able to convey its essence to the world. This global perspective has enabled studios from diverse geographies to find in the Architecture Hunter Awards an exceptional platform to position their work before an international audience eager for new languages and creative solutions.

Within this ecosystem of excellence, HW Studio stands out, led by MArch Valencia alumnus Rogelio Vallejo, who has been awarded for his ability to create spaces of a spiritual, almost monastic minimalism. In this case, the studio received the “Best New Architecture Firm” award. This recognition highlights the coherence of an architectural discourse that prioritizes silence and a respectful integration with nature—values that strongly resonate with the MArch approach.

Another notable name among the award winners is Nō Architects, a studio that embodies both experimentation and technical rigor, founded by MArch alumnus Pedro Terrades together with his partner Rafa Martínez. They have been recognized in the category “Unbuilt & Concepts | Hotels & Resorts.” Their work is distinguished by a constant pursuit of material identity and an impeccable geometric resolution.

The Architecture Hunter Awards continue to expand as a global radar for talent, where socially engaged architecture and a commitment to the future of the profession hold a privileged place.
