Students from the MArch Advanced in Architecture, Design and Business Administration program, along with participants from other programs, took part in a new edition of Fuorisalone Valencia—a day organized by the school to bring them closer to the professional world of contemporary design.
During the event, students had the opportunity to visit some of the most representative showrooms in the city, including Porcelanosa, Molteni, Loft, and Progetti. Each space offered an immersive experience that allowed them to explore product catalogs, current design lines, and the technological innovations implemented by each brand.
These visits broadened the students’ understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, and architectural solutions that are currently shaping market trends. They also had the chance to engage directly with showroom representatives, gaining deeper insight into the commercial, technical, and creative approaches of each brand.
The Fuorisalone Valencia experience strengthens the connection between academic training and the professional environment, providing practical knowledge that complements classroom learning. Activities like this help students better understand the design process from an industry perspective and prepare them to make more informed decisions in their future projects.
