Until when can I enroll in the MArch Programs?

Until the start dates of each program or until the limited places run out, you can also reserve your place as far in advance as you wish.


How can I formalize my registration if I already know which program interests me?

It’s very simple, send us an email to info@marchvalencia.com attaching your scanned passport and your CV/Portfolio. We will set up an interview to get to know you better and once your admission is confirmed you will receive an email telling you how to proceed with the next steps to formalize your reservation.

In case you do not belong to the European Union, we will send you an official letter that you can present at your embassy to obtain the visa. In addition, we have former students of more than 40 different nationalities, so we can put you in touch to help you.


Are the classes only in Spanish? Is there a group in English?

There is a group in Spanish and a group in English. In addition, for all the presentations we have simultaneous translation.


Do I need an English degree to study in the group of this language?

No, it is not necessary.


Do the programs include internships in companies?

Internships in companies are extracurricular but we have the contacts of architecture, interior and product design studios to help you manage it.


When can I enroll for the next course?

You can make a reservation as far in advance as you want to guarantee your place.


Where can I find a document with information about the programs?

How do I manage my visa?

Once you have completed the interview and have been accepted, we will send you an official letter that you can present at your embassy to obtain the visa.


What are the time tables during the course?

We currently have four groups. Two on Monday and Tuesday and two on Wednesday and Thursday, to choose between morning or afternoon.


Can I come and go from my city or do I have to stay and live in Valencia?

Every year there are students who come and go. The programs are designed so that they can be combined with professional practice or other activities.


Where is MArch located?

MArch Valencia is a Postgraduate School associated with the European University. It is located in Godella, 15 minutes from the center of Valencia, more specifically in the Espai Alfaro, the former studio and workshop of Andreu Alfaro, one of the most important sculptors of the Spanish 20th century. It is a space made up of several buildings structured around a large patio, populated by large sculptures, which turn the place into a great oasis of creativity.


Is there any type of scholarship available for the programs?

MArch Valencia collaborates with various entities such as the Arquia Foundation, among others, which award scholarships through academic records or open competitions for students. For more information, consult the Scholarships section of our website or follow us on our social networks, where we announce open calls.


What do I need to do to enroll?

Is the master’s degree useful for a recent graduate or is it better after a few years?

The master’s degree is useful both for recent graduates to establish a direct connection with the profession, as well as for those who already have experience and want to continue training to improve.


Are there programs oriented to Product Design?

Yes, we have the MArch Postgraduate in Design and Digital Innovation, which has a part of the course dedicated to product design. It starts in March.


Do I have to prepare to start the course?

You don’t need to prepare anything. The course is designed for all levels. We are waiting for you with great enthusiasm, you just want to learn and have a great year!


What is the average age of the students?

The age of our students is very diverse. There are people who decide to study our programs while they finish their undergraduate studies, others just after finishing them and also years later when they are already working in their own studio, for others or with the idea of starting a business.

MArch seeks the exchange of knowledge and skills between each other and this mixture always gives rise to very positive results and relationships.


Is it mandatory to send a portfolio?

It is advisable but not mandatory. You can also submit a CV.


I am a foreigner and I am going to take the programmes. Can you help me manage my stay in Valencia and with medical insurance?

Yes, we can help you by guiding you on how to find the best stay, recommending the most common pages or real estate, as well as putting you in contact with other students in case you want to share. We can also guide you with the best medical insurance based on the experiences of former students.


Can I enroll in a Postgraduate course and later move on to a Master’s programme?

Yes, you can modify your enrollment before February.


Are the trips included in the price?

Yes, the trips include transportation, visits and accommodation.


How long are the programs?

The MArch Postgraduate in Applied Architecture lasts from October to June. The MArch Postgraduate in Design and Digital Innovation lasts from March to October. All Masters last from October to October.


Is there a program dedicated to Product/Interior Design?

Yes, we have the MArch Postgraduate in Design and Digital Innovation, which has a part of the course dedicated to product design and interior design. It starts in March.


What is the relationship between MArch and the Fran Silvestre Arquitectos studio?

The Fran Silvestre Arquitectos studio is located in the Espai Alfaro facilities. Fran Silvestre is the director of the programs, is a speaker during the course and teaches the workshop “Doing to think”. In addition, the FSA team teaches a large part of the classes from their experience. They will be at your disposal to answer any questions you may have throughout the year.


Are all the cartel studios visited?

The studios that do not come to give a presentation at the Espai Alfaro are visited during the trips.

What is MArch Alumni?

It is an event that we carry out every 2 years bringing together students from all editions. They come from all over the world to meet again and to be able to explain to all their colleagues how their professional careers have evolved after their stay at MArch.

Are there financing options?

Yes, the payment can be divided during the months in which the teaching is given.


What is the difference between the MArch Master in Architecture, Design and Innovation and the MArch Advanced Master in Architecture, Design and Business Administration?

The MArch Advanced Master incorporates, in addition to all the teaching included in the MArch Master in Architecture, Design and Innovation, all content focused on business development from the point of view of architecture, with an MBA system, as well as trips to Japan, Switzerland and the Venice Biennale and stays for workshops in renowned studios such as Aires Mateus or RCR.


How can I contact a student from my country who has completed MArch?

You can ask us or contact directly our March Ambassadors, a network of members of the Alumni community who act as representatives of the School in their places of residence, forming a network of ambassadors with the aim of spreading the MArch philosophy. The MArch Ambassadors act in their places of origin as a link between possible students interested in the different MArch programs and the School itself.

Does something happen if I arrive later than the start of the course?

There is no problem. We will provide or repeat all the material and those classes that you have not been able to attend due to not being able to arrive on time.
