Architecture trip to Barcelona

Recently the students of the different MArch programs have had the opportunity to be part of a study trip to Barcelona to learn about the contemporary architecture of the city and some of its most outstanding studies.
Beyond the buildings known throughout the world, such as Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia, or the Mies Van Der Rohe pavilion, Barcelona has excellent examples of contemporary art. We visited buildings such as the Roca Gallery or the SEAT building, by OAB Ferrater, the MACBA by Richard Meier or the Herzog & de Meuron Forum, and we learned about the work of OAB Ferrater by Lucía Ferrater and Nuria Ayala through a conference and a visit to one of their projects, to which they accompanied us. We also have a presentation by Alberto Veiga, who shared with us some of the projects from his studio, Barozzi Veiga. And, in the same way, we were able to visit the studio of Francesc Rifé, who also gave a talk for our students.
