Graduation of the 2025–2026 Class with Universidad Europea

Universidad Europea has organized the graduation ceremony for the 2025–2026 class, during which students from the various MArch programs received their graduation sashes commemorating the completion of their postgraduate studies.

The graduation ceremony for the 25–26 academic year across all postgraduate programs was held at the Palacio de Congresos, one of Valencia’s most unique contemporary buildings. The class patron (padrino) was Fran Silvestre, who is also the director of the MArch Valencia postgraduate school.

The ceremony was presided over by the University’s Rector, Rosa María Sanchidrián, accompanied by the Dean of the School, Vicent Gassó, and the class patron himself, Fran Silvestre. It featured the presentation of sashes to the graduates of the various Universidad Europea postgraduate programs, who took to the stage to receive them. Prior to the presentation, Fran Silvestre delivered a speech addressing the graduates, congratulating them on this new academic milestone and reminding them that while the path now opening before them will require great effort, it will also bring immense rewards.

The event successfully brought together students from different disciplines alongside their families, friends, and members of the university community. They accompanied the newly graduated students in a moment that highlights the value of lifelong learning, curiosity, and commitment as essential tools for tackling the challenges of the future.

The venue hosting the event, the aforementioned Palacio de Congresos, is Norman Foster’s only work in the city of Valencia, inaugurated in 1998. It is a bioclimatic building featuring a floating zinc roof that projects into an imposing cantilever, designed to shield the glazed facades from direct sunlight and create walkable shaded areas. Inside, the play of double-height spaces, the influx of natural light, and the warmth of materials like wood in its three large auditoriums coexist with high-tech solutions, consolidating this space as an international benchmark for sustainability and urban innovation.
