BAMA has presented its first editorial series, BULTO, at Pasaje 94, a porcelain collection that marks the beginning of this Valencian publisher’s journey, committed to essential design, materiality, and the surrounding environment.

Co-founded by Nacho Ballester, MArch alumni, BAMA was born with the intention of exploring objects that inhabit space through timelessness, formal care, and local roots. In collaboration with artisans from the Valencian Community, BAMA operates through a logic that unites tradition and innovation, promoting a vision of design that originates in Valencia and engages in dialogue with contemporary culture.

The chosen setting for this first presentation was Pasaje 94, a space that is simultaneously a studio, gallery, and specialty coffee shop. Founded by Camila Chiodi, student of the 2023/2024 MArch edition, and María Vigliocco, from the 2019/2020 edition, Pasaje 94 has become a meeting point for the creative community in the heart of the city.

BULTO, the collection being presented, moves away from ornamental realism without dissolving into abstraction, embracing a restrained expressiveness that highlights the tactile and formal qualities of porcelain. A proposal that reflects BAMA’s curatorial approach and has found in Pasaje 94 the ideal context to begin its public journey.
