On Tuesday the 23rd at 7 pm, the latest TC Cuadernos monograph from the Dédalo Series will be presented at the College of Architects of Valencia (Colegio de Arquitectos de Valencia). This publication gathers some of the most emblematic projects by the studio led by Fran Silvestre. Furthermore, it features three introductory texts by Álvaro Siza, Emilio Tuñón, and Manuel Aires Mateus, which contextualize this body of work within a broader framework, highlighting its capacity to create a silent and rigorous architecture where technique becomes a means to achieve the essential.

The publication aims to build upon the continuity of the monograph published by the same editorial house in 2017 under the title Scenarios for Life (Escenarios para la vida). Focusing on residential projects, it includes a total of 26 works such as Casa Sabater, Casa Piera, Casa Cano, Casa Vacía (The Empty House), or the Threeseven housing complex, which comprises Casa Lago, Casa 18, and Casa Lavan. Likewise, reference is also made to some of the studio’s most iconic projects, including Casa en el Acantilado (House on the Cliff), Casa Hofmann, or Casa Balint, among others.

The event will feature a conversation with Fran Silvestre, who will share with the audience the studio’s trajectory to date, as well as the values and premises that have driven the team to work in this direction. All of this will be set against the backdrop of the projects included in the monograph itself, which will serve to exemplify the discussion.
