Today, June 13, as part of the MArch Alumni meeting, the second volume of Loading: Emerging Architectures is being presented, a monograph that brings together outstanding projects by former students of the MArch program.

This new edition reinforces the program’s commitment to showcasing the talent of its alumni, offering an international overview that highlights the geographic, cultural, and creative diversity of their architectural proposals.

During the presentation, some of the authors featured in the publication will take part in a discussion where they have the opportunity to share their projects with the audience and reflect on what it means to be part of this collective work. These gatherings provide a valuable space for exchanging experiences, analyzing the creative process, and reconnecting with peers and professionals from different graduating classes.

Loading Vol. 2 draws a global map of the work by MArch alumni, featuring projects that range from private residences in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Spain to refurbishments, public interventions, and interior design projects in countries such as Italy, Colombia, Ecuador, and Albania. Each proposal demonstrates a particular sensitivity to place and a rigorous technical and conceptual approach, reflecting the plurality of paths alumni pursue after completing the program.

This second edition strengthens the connection between education and professional practice, showing how the values taught at MArch—precision in design, dialogue with context, and technical excellence—are reinterpreted by alumni in highly diverse cultural and territorial realities. Loading: Emerging Architectures thus becomes a living archive of the present, capturing a generation committed to contemporary, thoughtful, and transformative architecture.
