Over the past few years, designer Francesc Rifé has established a notable presence at Milan’s Salone del Mobile through his stand designs for some of the most renowned brands in the industry.

For the 2025 edition, he has designed the spaces for Inclass, Vibia, Grupo MCI, and Redo Group—brands with which he has collaborated to bring his sober, elegant, and architectural design language to one of the most influential showcases in international design. His proposals for the fair function not only as exhibition spaces but also as genuine exercises in visual and conceptual identity.

Each of these stands reflects the core values of the brands they represent through a design that prioritizes formal clarity, harmony of materials, and a carefully curated presentation of products. In the case of Vibia, for example, light becomes the guiding thread of a space composed of square-plan volumes and an entrance with a circular layout. For Inclass, the design is built around the purity of volume and the articulation of human scale within a setting enclosed in wood—an approach also used for Redo Group, where verticality is added to enhance the presence of the stand’s volumes. In all of them, Rifé demonstrates his ability to create immersive and cohesive atmospheres where the product engages in dialogue with the architecture rather than competing with it.

Beyond their functionality as commercial platforms, the stands designed by Rifé for Milan reveal a deep reflection on how to inhabit ephemeral space. Through the repetition of geometric elements, the measured use of lighting, and a restrained material palette, the designer creates an immediate emotional and visual impact. These interventions reaffirm his commitment to a restrained and timeless aesthetic, elevating the trade fair experience to a more sensory and immersive dimension.
