This week marks the beginning of the M05_Interior Design module of the MArch program, kicking off with sessions dedicated to the Interior Design Project, led by Toni Cremades, a member of the Fran Silvestre Arquitectos team.

This initial contact offers students an immersive experience in the process of developing and managing interior design projects within a studio renowned for its precision and formal clarity.

During these first two sessions, students have the opportunity to learn how to interpret and correctly apply the dimensions of fixed elements and free spaces, gaining a better understanding of the parameters required for a space to be both functional and livable. The module also familiarizes them with materials available on the market, their applications and performance, as well as the technical products currently offered to architects and interior designers.

In addition to its theoretical and technical focus, the module is reinforced through practical experience: students develop an interior design project in which they apply the knowledge acquired, from concept to material and technical definition. In doing so, they experience first-hand the type of work carried out in leading studios such as Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, through a realistic and demanding methodology.

Toni Cremades, head of this module, is an interior designer trained at EASD, and further specialized through the MArch Advanced in Architecture, Design, and Business Administration. After co-founding the Mètode studio, he joined Fran Silvestre Arquitectos three years ago, where he works in the Interior Design Department alongside Andrés Alfaro Hofmann, as well as in the FSA LAB visualization team. Cremades has also shared his experience as a lecturer, giving talks at various design schools in Spain and France.
