It is a master’s degree where learning goes far beyond the classroom. To understand architecture and design from a global and business perspective, it is essential to experience space, innovation, and trends firsthand. Integrating an itinerant learning model through carefully curated international trips designed to connect our students with leading figures in the industry is one of the strongest assets of this program.

Throughout the academic year, students immerse themselves in the international architectural debate at the Venice Biennale; travel to the other side of the world to discover traditional and contemporary architecture in Japan, visiting Kyoto and Tokyo; explore the rich formal and identity tradition in Porto through the work of masters and Pritzker Prize laureates Álvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Moura; analyze cutting-edge design and urban dynamism in Barcelona alongside OAB · Ferrater and Barozzi/Veiga; and discover precision, technique, and constructive excellence in Switzerland across Zurich, Chur, Vals, and Lausanne.

For the upcoming academic year, new students will have the opportunity to travel to Northern Europe with an essential new stop: Copenhagen. The Danish capital—a global benchmark in sustainability, human-centered architecture, and Scandinavian design—becomes the new stage where our students will analyze how creativity and strategic vision transform the urban environment.

For several years now, the city has hosted 3daysofdesign during the month of June. It has become Copenhagen’s most influential annual event dedicated to contemporary design, interior design, and architecture, opening the doors of studios, showrooms, galleries, and workshops to celebrate Scandinavian and international creativity. Unlike conventional trade fairs held in large exhibition halls, this festival transforms the entire city into a living, walkable platform where professionals, established brands, and emerging talents present innovations focused on sustainability, craftsmanship, human urbanism, and aesthetic functionality. In this way, MBA MArch Advanced students will actively participate in this must-attend event to build professional networks and experience design integrated into daily life firsthand.
