This week, MArch students have had the honor of welcoming Ibán Ramón, one of the most distinguished and awarded graphic designers of the moment. With prestigious awards such as the LAUS, the awards from the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ADCV), Gràffica, the Type Directors Club of New York, and the Red Dot Design Award.
Although he is particularly known for his work in editorial design, corporate graphics, and visual communication, Ramón is a multifaceted professional who has also played a significant role in shaping the next generation of graphic designers. As a lecturer in various design centers, including MArch, he shares his invaluable experience and knowledge with students, thereby enriching their education and preparing them for the challenges of the design world. On this occasion, Ramón presented to MArch students not only his professional career but also a selection of his most recent projects. These, characterized by their creative ingenuity, careful aesthetics, and sophisticated visual communication, served as excellent examples of what can be achieved in the field of graphic design.
Being able to learn first-hand from a designer of Ibán Ramón’s stature provides valuable insight into the field of graphic design, giving students a deeper appreciation of the discipline and its possibilities.
