Through the Gallery streaming platform, it will be possible to enjoy the documentary “Siza”, which focuses on capturing on the screen a more intimate and personal vision of the Pritkzer Prize, delving into his childhood, his family and his passion for sculpture. or his taste for classical music.
In addition, other figures of architecture very close to the protagonist also appear, such as Carlos Castanheira or the Pritzker prize winner Eduardo Souto de Moura. It is directed by Augusto Custódio, who is also a producer. Through testimonials from friends and people close to the architect, the documentary reveals exclusive details about his personality and his legacy in modern architecture. Siza is a celebration of the life and career of the architect, who turns 90 in June, highlighting his importance to contemporary architecture and his unique approach to design. As one of the world’s most respected architects, Siza has influenced generations of professionals and will continue to inspire generations to come.
The documentary will premiere in June on the Gallery streaming platform, in addition to a previous closed event in Portugal. The film has the participation of special guests, such as the renowned architects Eduardo Souto Moura and Carlos Castanheira, former partners and friends of Siza.
