On October 10th, at 6pm at the headquarters of the Arquia Foundation in Madrid, on Calle Tutor, the documentary OAB 2005-2025 will be premiered. Matadouro in Porto, a project by ODAA Arquitectura with Kengo Kuma

Closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 academic year

The closing ceremony of the course of the different MArch programs was held last Wednesday 25th with the presence of students, teachers and family members, who gathered at the Espai Alfaro to commemorate the end of an academic stage. The event was attended by Salva Moret, architect, MArch speaker and director of the Ensenyem academy, who acted as godfather of the ceremony.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, one of Portugal’s most important cultural institutions, has been renovated and expanded by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The project, which began in 2020, seeks to update and reimagine the existing spaces, without compromising the harmony with the natural environment that characterizes the original complex, designed in the 1960s by architects Ruy Athouguia, Pedro Cid and Alberto Pessoa.

Audeum Museum, new project by Kengo Kuma

The Japanese studio of Kengo Kuma and Associates has completed work on one of its most ambitious projects in recent years: the Audeum (Audio Museum), whose exterior envelope consists of 20,000 overlapping aluminum tubes that generate changing shadows, evoking the play of light in a bamboo forest.
