Intervention in the landscape in the Cortijo de las Colonias by Carmen Moreno
The Granada architect Carmen Moreno, who will be at MArch on April 15, is the author of a significant project located in Víznar, north of Granada. The Cortijo de las Colonias estate, located on the road to the Fuente Grande de Víznar spring, is part of the stepped landscape of the ravine through which the Aynadamar irrigation canal runs.

Financial Planning Sessions in the Architecture MBA: MArch Advanced Program
Within the MArch Advanced in Architecture, Design and Business Administration master's program, classes have begun on one of the most important points within this MBA in architecture: the Financial Plan sessions. Alba de la Fuente in MArch
The architect Alba de la Fuente, an expert in visualization, has visited the MArch school for another year to share her professional experience with our students. Specialized in artistic conceptualization and research, Alba has explored new perspectives in architectural representation and the creation of innovative projects. Her technical skills include mastery of advanced software tools such as 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects, which have allowed her to develop community-acclaimed architectural visualizations.

Tossols-Basil Bath Pavilion
Among the poplar trees bordering the Fluvià River in Tussols-Basil is a discreet bathing pavilion, designed by RCR Arquitectes, which offers services to bathers enjoying the natural environment. The structure of the pavilion, of simple appearance, is made up of a single longitudinal volume, slightly curved to follow the sinuous contour of the river bed. In front, a raised platform reproduces the geometry of the pavilion, extending its presence in a harmonious way.

New edition of the TAC Festival!
Since 2022, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, in collaboration with the Arquia Foundation, a partner of the MArch graduate school, promotes the TAC! Urban Architecture Festival, with the purpose of bringing architecture closer to society and highlighting the value of urban public space through innovation and experimentation through the construction of a temporary pavilion in different cities in Spain.

The first Lebond watch, designed by Álvaro Siza, showed that famous architects can create magic even in an object as everyday as a watch. Now, this trip has a new chapter with a watch designed by the other Portuguese Pritzker laureate: Eduardo Souto de Moura.

Trip to Porto
From March 9 to 11, MArch program students had the opportunity to visit Porto and see some works by Pritzker Prize winners Álvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Moura, as well as projects by MArch Zé architects and speakers. Carlos Oliveira, from Noarq Studio, and Correia/Ragazzi. Furthermore, the latter, together with António Choupina, contributed with various interventions throughout the stay to enrich the experience.

Andreu Alfaro was one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century in Spain, with a public work that transcended its borders and has reached Venice, New York, Frankfurt and other European cities. Additionally, many of his sculptures can be found in permanent museum collections.

Solid Surface Workshop
These days the students of the MArch programs, in the context of the 03_Build module, have learned first-hand and have been able to work with a material that is increasingly common: the solid surface. During the workshop, taught by Paco Pardo, they learned about its properties and advantages, the different forms of application it offers and what its characteristics and adaptability are, which they were also able to verify by manipulating small pieces.

Halo: Noarq’s New Futuristic Elevator that Will Transform Vigo
Vigo is about to experience an architectural revolution with the construction of Halo, a futuristic elevator that promises not only to improve pedestrian connectivity between García Barbón and Vía Norte but also to become an emblem of innovation and design. This project, the result of collaboration between NOARQ, Arenas&Asociados and AM2 Arquitectos, has been unanimously selected for its ability to merge functionality with aesthetics, falling within the ambitious "Vigo Vertical".

Quinta de Velude, a project by Correia Ragazzi
The Correia Ragazzi studio shared with MArch students one of its most intimate and personal projects: La Quinta de Velude, near Porto and facing the Duero River, in a privileged location. It all begins with the Casa da Capela, part of the Quinta de Velude, which has its roots in the 14th century and is linked to the historical presence of the first king of Portugal, D. The new architecture guide of Valencia is published
The new Valencia Architecture Guide has recently been presented at the Territorial College of Architects of Valencia. It is a publication that seeks to complement the latest edition of 2010. It is structured chronologically in six periods in which 631 buildings (279 more than in the 2010 edition) and spaces are distributed, from the 1st century BC. C. until 2020.
